โครงการ Cook คลองเตย / Cook-4-All

เมื่อสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อ โควิด-19 เริ่มรุนแรงและเข้าขั้นวิกฤติจนมีการกักตัวผู้ติดเชื้อไว้ในบ้าน เพราะโรงพยาบาลที่รับผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อมีจำนวนเตียงไม่เพียงพอจะรับผู้ป่วยเพิ่ม เหตุการณ์ที่ล่อแหลมที่สุดในเวลานั้นคือการล็อคดาวน์ชุมชนคลองเตยเพื่อกักตัวผู้ติดเชื้อไว้ไม่ให้ออกจากชุมชนซึ่งจะเสี่ยงต่อการแพร่เชื้อต่อไปในวงกว้าง แต่การกักตัวไม่ค่อยได้ผลเพราะผู้ติดเชื้อหลายคนมีอาชีพรับจ้างรายวันและยังจำเป็นต้องออกมาหางานทำเพื่อเลี้ยงตัวเองและครอบครัว ทาง InnTrain จึงเล็งเป้าหมายไปยังกลุ่มคนในชุมชนคลองเตยนี้และเริ่มโครงการที่สองขึ้นคือ "Cook คลองเตย" จากเดิมที่เป็นการจัดหาอาหารให้บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ก็ขยายวงออกไปเป็นผู้ติดเชื้อและครอบครัวผู้ติดเชื้อ 

ตัวชื่อโครงการเองก็บอกเป็นนัยว่า การกักตัวอยู่ในชุมชนไม่ให้ออกไปไหนนั้นก็เหมือนการติดคุกแบบหนึ่ง ดังนั้นการที่จะให้พวกเขา(ผู้ติดเชื้อ)ยินดีปฏิบัติตามนั้นจำเป็นต้องมีปัจจัยด้านการยังชีพคืออาหาร และกำลังใจก็เป็นสิ่งสำคัญ 

โครงการนี้เป็นการขายข้าวกล่องในราคาถูกโดยทาง InnTrain เป็นผู้ทำอาหารและเป็นผู้นำไปมอบให้กับผู้ติดเชื้อในชุมชนคลองเตยทุกวันวันละสองเวลา  จาก Cook คลองเตย ก็เริ่มขยายวงกว้างไปเป็น Cook-4-All เพราะเริ่มมีชุมชนอื่นๆที่มีผู้ติดเชื้อและต้องการความช่วยเหลือมากขึ้น เราทำโครงการนี้มาร่วมปีจนสถานการณ์เริ่มคลี่คลาย

COOK KHLONG TOEI / COOK-4-ALL

As the COVID-19 pandemic escalated into a crisis, hospital beds became insufficient to accommodate the rising number of patients, forcing many infected individuals to isolate at home. One of the most critical situations at that time was the lockdown of the Khlong Toei community to prevent the virus from spreading to the wider public. However, quarantine measures were largely ineffective because many residents were daily-wage earners who still needed to leave their homes to find work to support themselves and their families. 

In response, InnTrain pivoted its focus toward the Khlong Toei community and launched its second initiative: "Cook Khlong Toei." Building on our previous mission of providing meals for medical personnel, we expanded our reach to include infected individuals and their families. 

The project’s name itself was a play on words; the Thai word for "cook" sounds like the word for "prison," hinting that being quarantined within a community is a form of confinement. To encourage cooperation and ensure residents remained safely isolated, it was essential to provide both the means of survival—food—and emotional support.

Through this project, we offered affordable meal boxes, which InnTrain prepared and delivered directly to infected residents in the Khlong Toei community twice a day. As more communities sought help, "Cook Khlong Toei" eventually expanded into "Cook-4-All." We continued this mission for nearly a year until the situation finally began to stabilize.

โครงการ ซื้อ 1 ที่ ช่วย 1 ท่าน

โครงการนี้เกิดขึ้นในช่วงต้นๆของการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อ โควิด-19 ซึ่งคนไทยส่วนใหญ่เกิดความตระหนกตกใจเป็นอย่างมาก และความกลัวนี้เองที่ทำให้การทำงานของแพทย์พยาบาลได้รับความกดดันอย่างมาก บุคลากรทางการแพทย์หลายคนโดนข่มขู่หรือพูดจาด้วยความรุนแรงใส่ และจำนวนมากพักผ่อนไม่เพียงพอ ล้มป่วยกันก็มาก InnTrain เองจึงได้เริ่มโครงการนี้โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อดูแลสุขภาพของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์โดยการรับประทานอาหารที่มีสารอาหารครบ และเป็นการให้กำลังใจบุคลากรทางการแพทย์โดยมีข้อความให้กำลังใจจากประชาชนทั่วไปที่สนับสนุนโครงการ

วิธีการคือ เมื่อมีการอาหารของร้าน InnTrain ทานเอง 1 ชุด ราคา 159 บาท ทาง InnTrain ก็จะทำอาหารเพิ่มอีก 1 ชุด (โดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่ม) เพื่อนำไปมอบให้ ทีมแพทย์พยาบาลและบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ในโรงพยาบาลเหล่านี้ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ โรงพยาบาลรามาฯ โรงพยาบาลพระมงกุฏฯ โรงพยาบาลราชวิถี โรงพยาบาลวชิรพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลกลาง โรงพยาบาลตำรวจ โรงพยาบาลพระปิ่นเกล้า โรงพยาบาลภูมิพล ซึ่งเป็นโรงพยาบาลที่รับรักษาผู้ป่วยที่ติดเชื้อ COVID-19 และโดยที่ทาง InnTrain ได้มีการติดต่อประสานงานกับทางโรงพยาบาลไว้ก่อนแล้ว อาหารและข้อความให้กำลังใจเหล่านี้จึงส่งตรงถึงมือผู้ปฏิบัติงานโดยตรง (ทีมแพทย์พยาบาลและเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง)  ชื่อและข้อความให้กำลังใจของลูกค้าที่ซื้อจะติดอยู่บนกล่องอาหาร

BUY 1 FOR 1: Supporting Our Frontline Heroes: The InnTrain COVID-19 Project

This project was born during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time of great public anxiety in Thailand. This widespread fear placed immense pressure on our doctors and nurses; many medical personnel faced verbal abuse or threats, while countless others suffered from exhaustion and illness due to lack of rest.

InnTrain launched this initiative with two core goals: to support the physical health of medical staff through nutritious, well-balanced meals, and to provide emotional encouragement through heartfelt messages from the public.

How it worked:

For every meal set purchased for personal consumption at 159 THB, InnTrain prepared an additional meal set (at no extra cost) to be delivered to medical teams at the following hospitals: Chulalongkorn Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Phramongkutklao Hospital, Rajavithi Hospital, Vajira Hospital, BMA General Hospital (Klang Hospital) ,Police General Hospital, Somdet Phra Pinklao Hospital, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital. These specific hospitals were the primary centers for treating COVID-19 patients. By coordinating directly with hospital administrators, we ensured that these meals—and the messages of support—were delivered straight into the hands of the frontline staff. To add a personal touch, the name and encouragement of the customer who funded the meal were displayed right on the lunch box.

InnTrain ริเริ่มโครงการจิตอาสาแบบเปิดกว้างมาตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2561  และเมื่อเกิดการแพร่ระบาดของ โควิด-19 ตั้งแต่ช่วงปลายปี พ.ศ. 2562 จนถึงต้นปี 2563 นำมาซึ่งการ lock down ทั่วประเทศ InnTrain ได้ริเริ่มกิจกรรมหลายอย่างภายใต้แคมเปญ "ซื้อ1ที่ ช่วย1ท่าน" "Cook คลองเตย" "Cook-4-All" จนกระทั่งกลายมาเป็นโปรแกรม THE LEAUGE

InnTrain has been pioneering open-access volunteer initiatives since 2018. During the COVID-19 pandemic—from late 2019 through the nationwide lockdowns in early 2020—InnTrain launched several key campaigns, including "Buy 1, Help 1," "Cook Khlong Toei," and "Cook-4-All." These successful initiatives eventually evolved into the dedicated volunteer program known today as THE LEAGUE.
