น้องธิดา เด็กหญิงอายุ 13 (พ.ศ.2564) อาศัยอยู่กับตาและยายในชุมชนคลองเตยเป็นเด็กเรียนดี เล่นกีฬาเก่ง น้องธิดาได้รับวัคซีนโควิดกลางเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ.2564 หลังจากฉีดวัคซีนกลับมาบ้านน้องปวดหัวมากจนยืนไม่ไหวและต้องนำส่งโรงพยาบาล เพียงไม่กี่วันหลังจากนั้นน้องจำเป็นต้องได้รับการผ่าตัดสมองด่วน ภายหลังการผ่าตัดน้องกลายเป็นคนป่วยติดเตียง หลายเดือนต่อมาน้องธิดาได้เข้ารับกายภาพบำบัดอาทิตย์ละ 3 ครั้งที่ ร.พ.จุฬา และมีอาการดีขึ้น นั่งได้ ยืนได้ เดินได้ ขยับแขนขาได้พอสมควร และนั่นเป็นครั้งแรกที่พวกเรา The League ได้รู้จักและเจอน้องธิดาเมื่อเดือนสิงหาคม พ.ศ.2565

ช่วงปี 2565 น้องธิดาเกิดอาการชักและถูกนำส่งโรงพยาบาล เดือน ก.ย. 2566 น้องเข้ารับการผ่าตัดใส่กระโหลกเทียม จากนั้นมา อาการน้องก็แย่ลง ขยับตัวได้น้อย ทานอาหารได้น้อย และน้องเข้ารับการทำกายภาพเพียงแค่ 1 วันต่อสัปดาห์ที่ ร.พ. จุฬาฯ(เพราะคิวเต็ม) เมื่อทาง The League ได้ไปเยี่ยมน้องอีกครั้งในเดือนสิงหาคม พ.ศ.2567 (สองปีนับจากครั้งแรกที่ได้เจอน้อง) น้องเดินไม่ได้ ยกแขนขาแทบไม่ได้ น้ำหนกลดลงไปอย่างมาก

หลังจากนั้น The League ก็พยายามติดต่อ อ.วันทนีย์ พันธชาติ และคุณแนน(อลิสา)เพื่อช่วยหาสถานที่ให้น้องได้เข้ารับการรักษาอย่างพอเพียง ต้นเดือนเมษายน พ.ศ.2568 ด้วยความช่วยเหลือจากอ.วันทนีย์และคุณแนน น้องธิดาได้เข้ารับการรักษากายภาพบำบัดที่ สถาบันสิรินธรเพื่อการฟื้นฟูสมรถภาพทางการแพทย์แห่งชาติ โดยอยู่ประจำที่สถาบันเป็นเวลาหนึ่งเดือน

อย่างไรก็ตามงานของเรายังไม่จบ เพราะคุณหมอประเมินแล้วว่าร่างกายของน้องไม่สามารถกลับมาเหมือนปกติเหมือนเดิมได้จำเป็นต้องใช้รถเข็น เรา The League ต้องการให้น้องสามารถช่วยเหลือตัวเองได้ และสามารถเรียน กศน. จนจบ ม.3 เป็นอย่างน้อยและหาช่องทางให้น้องสามารถทำงานหาเบี้ยงตัวเองได้ เนื่องจากน้องอยู่กับตากับยายและฐานะทางบ้านก็ยากจน

'Tida', a once healthy and sporty 13-year-old girl (2021) living in a community in Klongteoy area. In December 2021 Tida got COVID-vaccine. After then she had severe headache and was sent to a hospital wherein she had a brain surgery days later. After the surgery, Tida became bedridden. Some months later, she started physiotherapy three times a week at Chula hospital, and got better. She could sit, stand, walk, and moved her body. When we, The League, met her in Aug 2022, she could walk and talk with us. It looked promising that she would get back to normal sooner or later.

In 2022 Tida got seizure and was admitted in a hospital. She got the second brain surgery the year later and since then her condition got much worse. When we met her again in August 2024 (two years later), she could not walk even not able to stand. She barely talked. She lost her appetite and weight. Tida received physiotherapy at Chula hospital only once a week then.

After that, we contacted Ms. Wantanee Phatachart and Ms Alisa (Nan) who kindly helped get Tida admitted to the Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute where she had to stay for a month. 

Our work has not finished yet as the doctor who is responsible for her case told us that Tida would not be able to get back to normal completely as part of her brain was destroyed. Therefore, we would need to monitor her health condition and help Tida complete her education at least the junior high school so that she would be able to get a suitable job in the future.

It is important to know that Tida lives with her grandfather and grandmother and her family is poor. That's also one of the reasons why Tida did not get proper treatment earlier.
